November 2020 Update

On this first snowy day of 2020 in Watertown, MA I have a couple updates and reminders for you, dear reader. I know I haven’t been super active with the posting, but I have been up to my eyeballs in my day job, which is good, but sub-optimal for my writing pursuits. The state of Massachusetts isn’t great for posting gun reviews either, although I have some material coming down the pipe depending on a few acquisitions later in the year.

First, the updates: Dead Reckoning Collective announced their preorder for War… &After this week. It is available through 8 November, 2020 and the book releases on Veteran’s day, 11 November. War… &After is being released in multiple packages, a print and shirt packaged with the book, a shirt with a book, or just a book. I have no idea what written piece of work they chose for my entry, but you should buy a copy and check it out and tell me what they picked.

Next, Goodreads is hosting their annual “best of” competition. It is a user run voting competition. While Frozen Reaction is not on the list of nominees, there is a provision for writing in your vote. I would appreciate it if you headed over to the Best Mystery & Thriller section and wrote in Frozen reaction! If I can get enough votes, it should help boost the visibility of the book.

Now the reminder: I will be in Alexandria, MN at Cherry Street Books on the 11 November from 3 – 5 PM. In an effort to keep ourselves safe in these quarantimes, please schedule a time slot by calling (320)763-9400 and bring your mask, preferably and actual mask or a CM-6M with P3 antiviral filters.

Keep those masks close at hand, because I will be at Copper Trail Brewing, just down the street on 12 November, from 6 to 8 PM. Obviously you can pull that mask down to sip your beer or eat your chips.

There will be books and stickers available at both venues, at a discount from what is on the website currently. Either one of them should be an excellent time, and I hope to see you there!
