Dust off your surgical masks, strap your homemade face coverings to your ears and make sure they are covering both your nose and mouth, because I am super excited to announce the first two in-person book events for my novel, Frozen Reaction! The first one will be held at Cherry Street Books, from 3 – 5 PM on Wednesday, 11 November. In order to ensure proper social distancing, and to stay within CDC recommended guidelines, Cherry Street books will be offering specific time slots to sign up for, available by calling the number listed on their website, (320)763-9400.
If you are not able to snag a time slot at Cherry Street, never fear! Good books pair well with good beer, so I will be at Copper Trail Brewing from 6pm to 8pm the following evening, Thursday, 12 November. Stop in at either (or both!) of the events and chit chat with me about the book, writing, or just to rap about life.
This is very exciting for me, as I have been trying to get a book event scheduled for months. Due to the general 2020-ness of this year, events at book stores and other locations just haven’t been possible until now-ish.
I will have books and stickers for sale at both events, at a steep discount from what is on this website. Each book purchase will also include a copy of a not-yet available sticker that will be perfect for your car bumper, gun safe, bookshelf, or laptop! Those stickers will be available to attendees of the book events first, and any left over might get put up on the webstore.
Finally, I am super excited to let you know that I was selected for publication in Dead Reckoning Collective’s upcoming anthology, War…&After! I submitted three poems, and was notified recently that they selected one or more to include, but as of this writing, I am not sure which one(s) they chose. I have a suspicion as to which they chose, but I won’t know until the book is released. War…&After is going to be a poetry anthology featuring veteran authors from all services and walks of life. I encourage you to give Dead Reckoning Collective a look, and maybe pick up a copy of their other book, or check out the books they have been promoting from other veteran authors.
