End of 2025 Update

If you’re reading this, we made it to the end of 2025! It has been a banner year at Norseman Creative, and a busy year overall. The blog doubled the number of visitors, views, and likes from 2024, which is exciting. At this rate, the entire world will be reading Norseman Creative in about 22 years.

For 2026, I intend to keep posting articles, but the tempo will definitely slow down. As of this writing, I plan to post articles twice a month, probably the first and third Wednesday each month around lunch time. As a one-man shop whose primary editor is also his wife, posting once a week took time away from other writing projects, most notably The Dhofar Redemption and the follow-on novels in the Norseman Consulting series. My intent is to slow the number of posts while maintaining a higher pace of work on my books, and get at least the Dhofar Redemption finished, shopped around, and perhaps picked up for publication in 2026.

Not to worry! Even though I will be pivoting to finish the books, I have already begun working on projects for 2026. Some of the projects in the hopper are the final (for now) installments of Quickstride & Shambler’s adventures in Hawai’i, another trip to Molokai to hunt axis deer, some more about USPSA, and a few more lessons learned from the Detachment to name just a few.

Additionally, the Norseman Creative YouTube channel will get as much attention as I can give it, especially as I figure out video editing. One of the more exciting projects I am working on is finishing up an ammunition experiment and documenting those particular findings. The difference between science and goofing off is documentation!

If you are looking for some stocking stuffers, please head on over to the shop, where I have a number of fun goodies. They are a great way to rep the best bush-league blog on the ‘net. I would especially appreciate it if you picked up a copy of any of my books. They make great Christmas presents!
