2025 Q3 Update

This year continues to fly past me at break-neck speed. September feels like it snuck up on me, then I blinked, and October is already here. I wish I could say that this has been a productive three months, but I got a little off track. Our lives became a bit more hectic, and I wasn’t as good about pre-loading articles to publish while we were traveling.

Over the past three months, Jenny and I have done a fair bit of traveling, especially in September. The complete lack of posted articles in September can be completely attributed to a fairly brutal travel schedule. I have a handful of half-finished articles I just couldn’t quite bring myself to finish, mostly due to travel-exhaustion induced writer’s block. I should have them wrapped up and ready to publish in the coming weeks, as my travel schedule shouldn’t be too hectic between now and the end of the year.

This is not to say I haven’t been writing at all. My new job does provide me a fair bit of flexibility to write, which I have primarily dedicated to working on The Dhofar Redemption. I’ve been working on that story off and on for several years, and I have decided to dedicate most of my fiction-writing time to completing that particular book. Additionally, I submitted a few articles to outdoor magazines with hunting stories. Hopefully one of those gets picked up, but I haven’t heard word one about any of them.

I do have some new stickers and some new shipping materials, so any orders that come from the Norseman Creative Shop look borderline professional! Since Christmas is coming up, go ahead and use coupon code “holidaycheer” to get 10% off your cart. Sorry, the drop ship items (T-Shirts, notebooks, and coffee mugs) are not included.

Have a good Autumn, and I will see you next week with a new article!
