Aloha all! A quick update this week, I will be back to my semi-regularly scheduled posting after the Retrograde Absolution book tour & my youngest brother’s wedding. Don’t forget to check out the giveaways in celebration of Frozen Reaction’s fourth anniversary of publication! Some reminders at the end of this post.
The book tour now has three stops. At all three stops, I will have books and other merchandise for sale, and even some to give away! First, I will be at Cherry Street Books on 25 May starting at 11:00am. This will be a “Meet & Greet” where I will be posted up to answer questions about the book, and hopefully convince people to buy my book and any others from Cherry Street. The folks at Cherry Street Books have been huge supporters from day one, and I cannot thank them enough for hosting me not once, but twice since publishing Frozen Reaction back in 2020!
Book stores not really your thing? No problem! Starting at 5:00pm on 25 May, I will be posted up at Copper Trail Brewing slinging books and merch, and probably drinking a few beers. I’ll be there until I run out of stuff to sell or until Copper Trail closes for the night. The folks at Copper Trail also hosted me during the dark days of COVID lockdowns, and I am super excited to bring Retrograde Absolution to what I assume will be a packed house. Packed, because you’ll all be there, of course.
Finally, the kind people over at The Garden Bar on 6th are hosting me starting at 4:00pm on Tuesday, 28 May. If a taproom isn’t quite your speed, but pretending to know things about wine and good food are, then The Garden Bar is just the place for you. I’ll be there, with whatever wares and novels I have left to sell, and I would love to see you there!
I hope to see you all at each stop on my book tour! I will have fun stuff to give away at all of the venues, to go along with all the stuff I am giving away through the blog. There are now Five(+1) ways to win, for a total of fifteen (15) entries per person! Complete one or all of them in between now and 4 July, 2024 for your chance(s) to win! Here are the ways to win in case you don’t remember:
First, through the Norseman Creative Shop or in person, buy any combination of two books (Frozen Reaction, Rajah’s ABC’s, or Retrograde Absolution), and receive not only those two book signed, but also a chance to win the third book, absolutely free. If you buy all three and you win, I’ll send you an old textbook or something!
Second, if you already have a copy of any of my books, take a rad photo in a rad location or doing something cool with any of the books. Once you have what you think is a dope photo, send the picture to me via Instagram (@norsemancreative), or post to Instagram and tag @norsemancreative. The best one, as judged by me and my wife, will receive a complete swag pack from Norseman Creative.
Third, rate and review Frozen Reaction, Rajah’s ABC’s, The Hungriest Girl and/or Retrograde Absolution on Amazon, Goodreads, and/or Barnes & Noble and send a screenshot of the review to @norsemancreative on Instagram. All reviews will be placed in a random generator and a winner will be sent a Norseman Creative Slap Pack and a Norseman Creative Patch. If you review each book on Amazon, Goodreads, and Barnes & Noble, each review earns separate entries, so your chances get really good here!
Fourth, show you’re an even bigger fan of this janky blog than my own mother by getting the Norseman Creative Logo tattooed on your body for a chance to win something from one of my “collections”. Size and Location of tattoo, how well I know and like you, and how quickly you get the tattoo done determine which “collection” your prize comes from.
