New Year, New Logo: 2024 Update

Aloha all! As we put 2023 behind us and look forward into 2024, I wanted to take a few paragraphs to update you all on some of the goings on here at Norseman Creative.

The biggest update is that my second novel, Retrograde Absolution, was published on Thanksgiving day. This is my second publication through A15 Publishing, a small, veteran owned and operated publishing house that focuses on military veterans and their families and the stories they need to tell. Retrograde Absolution is a sequel to my 2020 novel, Frozen Reaction. I now have copies of both Frozen Reaction and Retrograde Absolution available for direct sales through the shop. I know Christmas just passed, but consider it a Presidents’ Day gift to yourself or a loved one.

I began work on the third Norseman Consulting book a few months ago. Like Retrograde Absolution, I am handwriting the first draft. I find this method better for my thought process, and progress is slow and steady. While not always successful, I try to finish a chapter every other day or so. This particular book actually started as Norseman Consulting Two, or the original sequel to Frozen Reaction. The clusterfuck that was the Afghanistan retrograde changed my creative process a little bit, and I shifted gears to write Retrograde Absolution. Now that Retrograde is out, I can refocus on this novel.

Work on The Dhofar Redemption continues, albeit slowly. I have been looking into a few details to make sure I am keeping this particular work of historical fiction at least somewhat grounded in history. There is also the matter of writing the third Norseman Consulting novel, my actual job, my actual job’s continuing education requirements, and the myriad other writing projects I have put upon myself. I will get more Dhofar Redemption out, and get it looked at for publication in full, all in due time.

You might have noticed a new image at the header for the blog. In an effort to professionalize this thing just a little bit, I went out and got a real logo made. Expect to see merch available soon for you to purchase and rep your favorite blog!

I hope you all are able to build on the experiences of 2023, and have a productive and happy 2024!
