Holy smokes, did I ever misoverestimate the amount of free-time I would have to write as an AFROTC Cadre! This job has kept me busy, but I love my job. I work with a good team of dedicated cadre, and it is extremely rewarding to watch the cadets grow and mature into promising Second Lieutenants. After a full year in the detachment, we managed to commission a dozen new butter bars, with many more on the way.
I realize it has been a hot minute since I last posted anything here. Over the past several months, Jenny and I have been on quite a few adventures with our friends, including Island Hopping, Weddings, and even pig hunting! I have a few more posts in the works covering our adventures. Rest assured, we are having a blast out here in Hawaii!

The sequel to Frozen Reaction is complete. I turned in the fifth version of the manuscript to the editor earlier in September, and now it is a waiting for a final copy edit, formatting for print, and a cover design before announcing a release date. I am extremely excited for this book to finally come out. I say finally, even though the turn around time on this one was much faster than the first one, which took me five years to complete!
After a couple rounds of edits with the editor, the next book is titled Retrograde Absolution. I thought this title did two things for me: 1. It is catchy, and 2. it gets me out of being stuck into naming every subsequent book <Insert Word Here> Reaction. More information will be released about Retrograde Absolution very soon!
Finishing the edits on Retrograde Absolution means that I can focus on other creative pursuits, like Norseman Consulting novels three and four, plus the Dhofar Redemption that I have been publishing sporadically. Maybe even a return to some of the earlier content from when I first started blogging. Lots more to come, and I am extremely excited to share the progress!

In the meantime, thank you for reading and for all the support. Have a good one out there!
